Jeg har hatt KYB GR2 dempere på original høyde, og synes de er fine til det formålet.
Det jeg er litt nysjerrig på er om de korte er laget for boble, eller om de er for en tung svær bil og at de tilfeldigvis passer bra på en senket boble
Hi,
I hope you can provide me with the spesifications regarding these two
shocks: both for a 1966 - Beetle front suspension.
KYB-343143 - KYB GR-2 GAS SHOCK FRONT STD BEETLE 66-77 (Fully extended
- 20 inches - Fully compressed - 15-1/2 inches.)
KYB-343208 - KYB GAS SHOCK LOWERED BALL JOINT BEETLE 66-77 (Fully
extended - 15-1/4 inches - Fully compressed - 10-3/4 inches.)
What I want to know is if the dampening is the same in both, or if the
latter one is actually designed for a heavier car and therefore is
more rigid.
Thank you for taking the time, regards Jorgen Eide
Jorgen,
The damping rate is the same for both part numbers you listed. The main
difference is the extended and compressed lengths. The 343143 is longer.
Thank you,
Dan

Så da er katten ute av sekken.... Er nok fjæringsgeometrien mer enn noe annet som påvirker.
