Tittel: 72 bus headlights Skrevet av: Dave på mai 30, 2012, 21:01:32 pm Hi
I have imported my English early bay camper and am trying to get its first Norwegian EU Control. It is failing as the headlights produce the incorrect light pattern. I have replaced the glass, reflector and bulb with Norwegian parts but still no luck. Does anyone have any good ideas about what could be wrong or know where I could get a decent pair of used units??? Any help appreciated! Thanks in advance Dave Tittel: Sv: 72 bus headlights Skrevet av: Dragset'n på mai 31, 2012, 17:20:03 pm have you tried adjusting the direction of the lights? Your lights are adjusten for rhd?

The guy testing it seemed to think it could be the way the bulb fits in the reflector. He thought the bulb should be rotated so the single pin on the back of the bulb was at the top. This isn't possible as there is only one position the bulb can sit in the reflector. This means the single pin sits at about 3 O'clock. Have tried 3 different bulbs but still no luck. Any ideas?

Tittel: Sv: 72 bus headlights Skrevet av: Dave på juni 01, 2012, 07:52:03 am That is a possible explanation! I purchased these from you guys with ref 43863. The part number on the invoice is 312-941.151/B/GEN although I am not sure if this is what I received as the label is no longer on the reflector. Could you check that this is the right part number for a bus though? Is there any other way of seeing if it is a bus or beetle reflector?
Tittel: Sv: 72 bus headlights Skrevet av: Dave på juni 01, 2012, 08:04:28 am It seems like this reflector is sold for both bus and beetle. How does this work? As you say the light unit is rotated to fit the bus. It didn't actually seem like the beam was out by 90 degrees though. A bit more like 45. I thought at first the bulb had been manufatured incorrectly but have tried various different bulbs now and they are all the same... Any ideas??
