som topic sier, jeg finner ikke mål på hvor mye som må freses ut av blokka for å gli inn et
(i dette tilfelle) 92x82 Mahle sylindersett.

Noen som har link til en oversikt el. lignende ?

fant endelig noe info. Er det å søke riktig som er vanskelig på internett Glad

92mm-94mm Piston & Cylinder Sets

These are offered for customers that want this size even though I, personally do not recommend using them for applications that require long reliability. I have not found them to last or cool up to the standards that the 90.5mm provide. Yes, they make more power at first, however, the ring seal seems to deteriorate in as little as 5000 miles and requires extra breathers on the valve covers to handle the blow-by. Be clear that blow-by is a failure from cylinder distortion and lack of ring seal to the cylinder wall.
Remember:Correct compression is mandatory for maximum engine life. See GB 801-CR.

92mm Cima/Mahle forged aluminum, 69mm stroke (39.6mm pin height). Cylinder sizes of, case 96mm, head 98mm, 6mm thick crown. Approximately 8.2:1 CR. (POTL) RW: 1.5/2/4.
92mm Cima/Mahle forged aluminum, 82mm stroke (34-mm pin height). Cylinder sizes of, case 96mm, head 98mm, 6mm thick crown. (POTL) Approximately 9.6:1 CR. RW: 1.5/2/4.
94mm Cima/Mahle forged aluminum, 69mm stroke (39.6mm pin height). Cylinder sizes of, case 97.25mm, head 101.10mm, 6mm thick crown. Approximately 8.5:1 CR. (POTL) RW: 1.5/2/4.
94mm Cima/Mahle forged aluminum, 82mm stroke (34-mm pin height). Cylinder sizes of, case 97.25mm, head 101.10mm, 6mm thick crown. Approximately 9.9:1 CR. (POTL) RW: 1.5/2/4.

Sitat
Case Boring Recommendations

All cylinders that have 96mm or larger spigot holes, require that the case seating area be surfaced about 0.060" to provide a full seating area for the cylinder to set on, the same thickness all the way around the cylinder base. Subject to this is thick wall 90.5, 92, and 94 cylinders. This must be done in a milling machine, jig bore, Rotler case center, etc. It cannot be done with our GB 700 tool. If not done, it is possible to start having leaks at the base, especially later in the life of the case. Note: Please, be clear that the wording ‘thick wall’ is an expression of the industry and is not reflective of actual cylinder thickness, ONLY the size it is machined on the head and case ends.
