You have to pay sales tax on the car and shipping costs when importing to Norway.

Check out www.toll.no for info regarding car import to Norway. Just click on the English version and I am sure you will find what you need to know there...

Its easy with a veteran car. 25% tax on the amount you pay for the car and shipment. + approx 6000,- to get norwegian plates on the car. You also have to take the car to biltilsynet so they can check the vin number and technical state of the car.

I have used these two, very satisfied with both Motorships in Drammen cargo@motorships.no and titanship howard@titanship.com

Ask them for prices and compare Blunker

I know that JetCarrier ships cars and motorcycles from USA, I think they can pick up your car and get it to the harbor as well.

Jetcarrier is located on the eastcoast. Try calship.com. They have their office in stanton, California.

Truck it to Long Beach and have them deliver it to www.calship.com.

I have shipped about 12 cars this way, from all over the USA. I guarantee it will be the best...and the cheapest. But it might take some more time than other options.
